Ashleigh Caudill grew up in a musical family, learned to sing almost before she could walk, and began playing bass with her family band at an early age. In 2003 she received a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music, said goodbye to her small hometown of Montrose Colorado and relocated to Boston Massachusetts where she was quickly accepted into the New England acoustic music scene. While climbing the ranks of freelance bassists, she discovered her love of songwriting. Shortly after releasing her debut solo album, "I'm not Fallin," Bluegrass Unlimited declared her "a voice to be reckoned with." Upon relocating to Asheville North Carolina she was awarded first place in bass, and vocals in the North Carolina Mountain State Fair Bluegrass Competitions, as well as placing 2nd in the bluegrass category of Merlefest's Chris Austin Songwriting Competition in 2011! Caudill, now residing in Nashville Tennessee, released her sophomore album, Fruit of the Vine, in 2010 produced by Jim Hurst, featuring performances by Claire Lynch, Mark Schatz, Jim Hurst and many more!
